The Dan Eley Foundation is a nongovernmental, not for profit organisation whose mission is to contribute to the personal and professional development of underprivileged children and young people living in poverty or disadvantaged circumstances.
The charity wanted a new identity as they were focusing their activities more in the UK, as well as in Colunbia. Their new logo incorporates an image of a bird, representing the charities endeavour to equip young people with the skills and independence they need in life. The colours represent those of the UK flag, with a splash of yellow referencing their columbian ties.
This website showcases the impact of their work to potential donors. Bright colours of the logo were used throughout the site to convey the sense of possibility and empowerment the charity hopes to bring to underprivileged youth..
A ‘friendly’ font set and a clear, formal layout was chosen to communicate the colourful, warm and professional spirit of their outreach programs.
It was important to integrate statistics and evidence of the impact of their work throughout the site, to encourage consistent small donations as well as to attract the attention of larger donars.
